A little about Soft Corals

They, іnѕtеаd, have ѕріnу ѕkеlеtаl еlеmеntѕ called ѕсlеrіtеѕ whісh give thеѕе corals ѕоmе dеgrее оf ѕuрроrt whіlе gіvіng thеіr еxtеrіоr a grаіnу оr ѕріkе like texture that deters роtеntіаl predators.

They are one of the most colourful types of marine corals available yet. Bendable and unique in their class, soft corals are easy to maintain. With this in mind, most beginners and new hobbyists find them as favourite and are comfortable to keep and care for them.

Unlike their stony coral relatives, these corals instead grow wood-like cores for movement and fleshy rinds for protection. These cores make them bend easily with the flow of water in your tank. And with this, they create a blissful waving movement that is beautiful to watch.

Generally, soft coral frags do well in nutrient-rich water with low to moderate light. So, you’ll love them as they are resilient to changes in the environment within the tank and adapt very easily.
